2016 Marshall Candlelight Walk



4:30 and 6:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10-11

The Marshall Candlelight Walk is a guided walking tour of five historic houses decorated for the holiday season.

Participants will travel in groups of 25 and a make a circuit of four homes on North Kalamazoo Avenue and one on nearby West Prospect Street.  The homeowners and family members will greet the visitors inside the homes.

Each walk begins with a reception at the First Baptist Church, 305 W. Michigan Ave.  Please arrive at the reception 20 to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled walk time.

The tour is held regardless of weather conditions, and tickets are nonrefundable.  Participants are urged to wear comfortable shoes. Only 125 tickets will be sold for each of the four walks.

Ticketholders also will have admission to the Honolulu House Museum that will be open 11 a.m to 8:30 p.m. on the Candelight Walk dates.  The museum will have holiday decorations.

Candlelight Walk proceeds are used to maintain the Marshall Historical Society’s three museums and to support community efforts to preserve and showcase Marshall’s heritage.
