The Marshall Candlelight Walk is a guided walking tour of five historic houses decorated for the holiday season.
In mid-November you will be sent complete information regarding the tour, including where to meet, what to expect, etc.
Participants travel in groups of 25 and a make a circuit of the tour homes. The homeowners and family members will greet the visitors inside the homes. Each walk begins with a reception at the First Baptist Church, 305 W. Michigan Ave. Participants are urged to arrive at check-in at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled walk time.
The tour homes are between Mansion and Hanover streets and include Marshall's Octagon house.
The tour is held regardless of weather conditions, and tickets are nonrefundable. Participants are urged to wear comfortable shoes. Only 125 tickets will be sold for each of the four walks.
Ticketholders also will have admission to the Honolulu House Museum that will be open 12:00 noon to 8:30 p.m. on the Candelight Walk dates. The museum will have holiday decorations.
Candlelight Walk proceeds are used to maintain the Marshall Historical Society’s three museums and to support community efforts to preserve and showcase Marshall’s heritage.
